A henna gathering is a really fun opportunity for a group of people to connect. Often there is a henna painting class and thus an opportunity to learn this art form. I have hundreds of designs to choose from, with a wide variety of styles. Getting a henna tattoo can also be a time to set an intention that your tattoo will remind you of in the days/weeks to come.
In the traditions of the Middle East, India, and other cultures that use henna, women would gather during celebrations and adorn each other while they talked and gossiped, gave advice and lovingly pampered each other. My Women's Henna Events are an opportunity to reawaken that tradition in our own culture. We can support each other throughout our transitions and be adorned with natural henna.
Occasionally, I have events in my home, but you are welcome to create your own henna event at your own home, and hire me as your artist. Together we can celebrate a birthday, a young woman's coming of age, an upcoming wedding, or simply a girl's night out.
